Faizal Siddiqui’s TikTok Account Suspended

Popular TikToker Faizal Siddiqui suffered a major setback after his account was deactivated by
the platform for flouting the rules. Siddiqui’s account is no longer accessible after one of his
videos was supposedly meant to encourage violence against women. The video posted on the
popular platform TikTok attracted the attention of many celebrities as well as civil rights groups
such as the National Commission for Women. The criticism had many users given the video a
single-star rating.

In what is turning to be a nightmare for the TikTok creator had initially uploaded a video where
he is seen threatening a girl for leaving him for another man. Siddiqui responded by throwing an
unknown liquid at the girl’s. It was not until the TikTok creator uploaded another video showing
the girl with a lot of make-up. Many users believe that it was not make up but scars from an acid
attack. Following the backlash that followed, TikTok ended up pulling down the video and
suspending the account of the user who uploaded the video. Deactivating Siddiqui’s account
however was only done after a petition by NCA asked TikTok to act on the content. The police
too have been asked to take action against the TikToker.
